1: Δέσμη (Strong'S #1197 — Noun Feminine — desme — des-may' )

from deo, "to bind" (similarly, Eng. "bundle" is akin to "bind"), is used in  Matthew 13:30 .

2: Πλῆθος (Strong'S #4128 — Noun Neuter — plethos — play'-thos )

"a great number" (akin to pleo, "to fill"), is the word for the "bundle of sticks" which Paul put on the fire,  Acts 28:3 . See Company , Multitude.

 1 Samuel 25:29 (b) This is another name for the precious fellowship into which believers are brought with their Lord, safe and secure.

 Song of Solomon 1:13 (c) All of GOD's gracious loving kindnesses and mercies are grouped by the Psalmist, as a bundle is wrapped together.

 Matthew 13:30 (a) This represents unsaved people bound together according to their associations on earth - gamblers with gamblers, thieves with thieves, harlots with harlots, etc. Each kind is bound together and made to suffer together in hell. They fellowshipped together on earth in their sins - now they are bound for punishment in eternity.

Bundle . A bundle of money is spoken of in   Genesis 42:35 , of myrrh in   Song of Solomon 1:13 , of life in   1 Samuel 25:29 (on wh. see Exp. Times , xvii. 435); also in   Jeremiah 10:17 RVm [Note: Revised Version margin.] a bundle for a journey (see Driver’s Jer . p. 354); and in NT of tares (  Matthew 13:30 ) and of sticks (  Acts 28:3 ).

bun´d ' l  : Represents in English Versions of the Bible the words ceror , from a verb meaning "cramp" "bind," etc. ( Genesis 42:35;  1 Samuel 25:29;  Song of Solomon 1:13 ); cebheth , from a verb probably meaning "to grasp" (Rth 2:16); and δἐσμη , désemē , from δέω , déō , "to tie up," "bind," hence, literally "bundle," just as the English word is derived from "bind" ( Matthew 13:30 ); and πλῆθος , plḗthos , properly "multitude." The custom of binding up precious things in bundles (compare  Song of Solomon 1:13 ) is the basis of the very interesting metaphor in  1 Samuel 25:29 : "The soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with Yahweh thy God," or perhaps better, "in the bundle of the living in the care of Yahweh" - an assurance of perfect safety.

( צְרֹר , Tseror'; Δέσμη ) , signifies any thing bound together and tied up for future disposal ( Song of Solomon 1:13;  Matthew 13:30;  Job 14:17). It is also used of a sum of money in a purse ( Genesis 42:35;  Proverbs 7:20). (See Bag). The speech of Abigail to David ( 1 Samuel 25:29) may be thus rendered: "The life of my master is bound up in the bundle of the living by Jehovah," or written in the book of the living. In  Acts 28:3, the original word is Πλῆθος , an arm Ful, literally a

"multitude," as elsewhere rendered.
