(Strong'S #1796 Verb enubrizo en-oo-brid'-zo ) "to treat insultingly, with contumely" (en, intensive, hubrizo, "to insult;" some connect it with huper, "above, over," Lat. super, which suggests the insulting disdain of one who considers himself superior), is translated "hath done despite" in Hebrews 10:29 .
