Eldest son of Ishmael and one of the chiefs of the Ishmaelites. Genesis 25:13; Genesis 28:9; Genesis 36:3; 1 Chronicles 1:29 . The rams of Nebaioth are mentioned, with the flocks of Kedar his brother, as ministering to the prosperity of Israel in the future day of blessing. Isaiah 60:7 .
