John Vipond [1]

a Methodist preacher, was converted young, and in 1797 was admitted on trial by the English Wesleyan Conference. In 1799 he was appointed to Whitehaven Circuit where he only preached a few times. He was seized with a fever and died. His character was unblemished and his talents promising. See Atmore, Meth. Memorial, s.v.
