a name given in Scripture to two very different structures in Jerusalem:

(a) The "porch of judgment" attached to the palace ( 1 Kings 7:7), for which (See Palace); and

(b) "Solomon's Porch," or portico ( στοὰ Σολομῶνος ) , the outer eastern corridor of the Temple ( John 10:23; Acts 3:11; Acts 5:12), for which (See Temple).
