Seraphic Hymn [1]

the Ter-sanctus, or "Holy, holy, holy," which concludes the preface in the communion service. Its basis is found in Isaiah 6:3. The hymn itself occurs in every ancient liturgy. It must not be confounded with the Trisagion (q.v.).
