Thomas Rennell [1]

(2), D.D., a learned English divine, son of the above, was born at Winchester in 1787, and was educated at Eton and at King's College, Cambridge. He became Christian advocate at Cambridge and vicar of Kensington in 1816; and master of St. Nicholas's Hospital and prebendary of Salisbury in 1823. He died in 1824. Mr. Rennell was one of the editors of and contributors to the (Eton) Miniature and the British Critic, and a contributor to the Museum Criticum. He published, Palentes Morbi: — Animadversions on the Unitarian Version of the New Test.
