a French Jesuit, was born at Paris Oct. 25,1561; was admitted into the order in 1579; became professor of rhetoric at the College de Clermont, Paris, and afterwards rector of the College of Rouen. He died as provincial of Champagne arch 25, 1619, at Paris.
