Louis Daniel Paumier [1]

a Protestant theologian of France, was born at Autretot, February 23, 1789. He studied at Lausanne, and in 1813 accepted a call to a parish in the neighborhood of Bolbec. In 1817 he was called to Rouen, where he spent the remainder of his life. Besides his ministerial functions, he instructed in a parochial school, which he had founded in 1820, organized different Christian societies, and succeeded in opening a Protestant hospital.
