(Heb. only in the singular collectivelv, Machli', מִחַלַי , patronymic of the same form from MAHLI; Sept. Μοολί , Vulg. Moholitae; but in Numbers 26:58, Sept. omits, Vulg. Moaholi; A. Vers. constantly "Mahlites"), the descendants of Mahli, the son of Merari ( Numbers 3:33; Numbers 26:58).
