He was rioted for his severity in carrying out their orders, especially against bishops, presbyters, and all ordained ministers. (2) One of the forty-nine martyrs of Carthage in 304, in the persecution by Diocletian under the proconsul Anulinus. (3) Metropolitan of Byzacene, in Africa, in the 6th century. A rescript was addressed to him by Justinian I in 541.
