Selebin ). a town in the tribe of Dan ( Joshua 19:42, where it is named between Ir-shemesh and Ajalon); probably the same elsewhere ( Judges 1:35;  1 Kings 4:9) called SHAALBIM (See Shaalbim) (q.v.).

shā - a - lab´in ( שׁעלבּין , sha‛alabbı̄n  ; Codex Vaticanus Σαλαβείν , Salabeı́n  ; Codex Alexandrinus Σαλαβείμ , Salameı́n ): A town in the territory of Dan named between Irshemesh and Aijalon (  Joshua 19:42 ). It seems to be identical with Shaalbim .
