Thomas Covingtrie [1]

a Scotch clergyman, was baptized June 15, 1685; took his degree at Edinburgh University in 1705; studied divinity at Glasgow; was licensed to preach in 1711; called to the living at Cross and Burness the same year, and ordained; and died September 2, 1744, aged sixty years.
