1: ἐχθρός (Strong'S #2190 — — echthros — ekh-thros' )

an adjective signifying "hated, hateful, or hostile," is used also as a noun denoting "an enemy," translated "foes" in  Matthew 10:36 and the Av of   Acts 2:35 . See Enemy.
