Isaac Chanler [1]

an English Baptist minister, was born at Bristol in 1701. He came to Ashley River, near Charleston, S. C., about 1733, where he served as pastor fifteen years. He died Nov. 30, 1749, having published a treatise entitled The Doctrines of Glorious Grace Unfolded, Defended, and Practically Improved; also a treatise on Original Sin.
