Shaveh-Kiriathaim
Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible [1]
Shaveh-Kiriathaim (‘the plain of Kiriathaim’). The place where the Emim were smitten by the allied kings from the East ( Genesis 14:5 ). It probably derived its name from the Moabite Kiriathaim ( Numbers 32:37 , Joshua 13:19 ).

shā´ve - kir - ya - thā´im ( קריתים שׁוה , shāweh ḳiryāthayim ; ἐν Σαυὴ τῇ πόλει , en Sauḗ tḗ pólei ): Here Chedorlaomer is said to have defeated the Emim ( Genesis 14:5 ). the Revised Version margin reads "the plain of Kiriathaim." If this rendering is right, we must look for the place in the neighborhood of Kiriathaim of Moab ( Jeremiah 48:1 , etc.), which is probably represented today by el - Ḳareiyāt , about 7 miles to the North of Dibon.

(Heb. Shaveh' Kiryatha'yim, שָׁוֵה קרַיָתָיַ ם, plain of the double city ; Sept. Σαυή ὴ πόλις ), a plain at or near the city of Kiriathaim, occupied by the Emim at the time of Chedorlaomer's invasion ( Genesis 14:5). Schwarz finds the town (which is known to have been located east of the Jordan) in. the ruins of Kiriat, one and a half mile southwest from Mount Atara (Palest. p. 228), and the dale, or Shaveh (q.v.), must have been in the immediate vicinity. (See Kirjathaim).
