"the ascent of Akrabbim;" in Joshua 15:3, προσανάβασις Ἀκραβίν; in Judges 1:36, ἀνάβασις Ἀκραβίν, "the going up to Akrabbimn;" Vulg. everywhere ascensus scorpionis ), a pass on the south- eastern border of Palestine.
