(Heb. Ginnethon', גַּנְּתוֹן, gardener or great garden; Sept. Γαανναθών and Γαναθώθ,Vulg. Genthon), one of the "chief" priests that returned from the captivity with Zerubbabel (Nehemiah 12:4, where the reading is "Gennetho"), and subscribed the covenant with Nehemiah 10:6; his son Meshullam is mentioned as contemporary with the high-priest Joiakin (Nehemiah 12:16).
