a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, October 1, 1796. He was converted in 1817, and in 1820 was admitted into the North Carolina Conference. He died at his residence in Granville County, N.C., January 13, 1848. Mr. Bramne's talents as a preacher were more solid than showy, and his labors were eminently successful.
