a - vouch ´: In English Versions of the Bible only in  Deuteronomy 26:17 ,  Deuteronomy 26:18 , in the sense of "to confess," "avow," "publicly and solemnly declare." The Hebrew form is likewise unique (Hiph. of 'āmar ).
