Edwin A. Johnson [1]

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Gowanda, N.Y., October 30, 1829. He joined the Church when eleven years of age, and in 1852 entered the Erie Conference, in which he labored. with efficiency as a pastor until his appointment (1868-72) as assistant editor of the Pittsburgh Christian Advocate.
