Walter Harte [1]

an English poet and divine, was born about 1700, and educated at Marlborough School and at St. Mary's Hall, Oxford, of which he became vice-principal. He was canon of Windsor in 1751, and subsequently vicar of St. Austel and of St. Blazy, Cornwall.
