Samuel Clanahan [1]

a Scotch clergyman, was born July 17, 1779; educated at the parish school; studied at the universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh; was licensed to preach in 1805; became tutor in the family of Robert Hathorn Stewart in 1806; was presented to the living at Glasserton in 1813, and ordained, and died February 27, 1849.
