a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born Dec. 20, 1764, at Geithain, and died Feb. 24, 1829, as doctor of philosophy and superintendent at Eisleben. He wrote Kurze Beschreibung der Merkwurdgqkeiten die sich in Eisleben und in Luther's Hause daselbst, besonders auf die Reformation und auf Luther beziehen (Eisleben, 1817, 1827).
