("whiteness). Possibly alluding to the white poplars growing near.  Deuteronomy 1:1. Perhaps Libnah ( Numbers 33:20); near the Elanitic gulf or the Arabah desert. The name may be preserved in El Beyaneh, W. of the Arabah, N. of Ezion Geber.
