a Baptist minister, was born in England in 1828, and in early life came to New York city. Not long after he was converted, and joined the Church in Newark, N.J. Having subsequently entered the ministry, his pastorates were successively in Newark, Bronson, Michigan, and in Chili, Indiana. His ministry was attended with powerful revivals."
