Rogers, John (3),

an English Puritan divine, was educated at Cambridge. He became vicar of Hemmingham in 1592, minister of Haverhill in 1603, and was afterwards minister of Dedham, Essex, where he died in 1630. His works are: Sixty Memorials of a Godly Life: Treatise of Love: Doctrine of Faith (Lond. 2d ed. 1627; 6th ed. 1634, 12mo): Exposition of First Epistle of Peter (ibid. 1650, fol.).
