Samuel Kelley [1]

a veteran Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Salem, N.H., February 1, 1802. He joined the Church in 1820, and in 1822 entered the New England Conference, in which and in its later subdivisions he labored faithfully, for the last thirteen years as chaplain to the Sailor's Home in Quincy, Massachusetts, until his death, September 6, 1883.
