Julien Houdayer [1]

A French theologian, was born at Noyen in 1562. In 1595 he was appointed rector of the Sorbonne, and later filled several positions of distinction in the Roman Catholic Church of France. He died Nov. 28, 1619. His only theological work is Du Devoir des Cures (Le Mans, 1612,12mo). Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. G É neral É , 25, 247.
