T.B. Espy [1]

a Baptist minister, was born in Cass County, Georgia, in 1837. He was educated at Howard College, Ala., served three years as chaplain in the Confederate army, two years as pastor at Athens, Georgia, two at Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1873 became editor of the Western Baptist, in 1879 of the Baptist Reflector, and later of the American Baptist Flag, St. Louis, Mo.
