Cacciatrro Arachiele [1]

an Armenian theologian and philosopher, was a native of Erzerfm, in the plain of Armenia. At the age of fifteen years he went to Rome and completed his studies at the College for the Propagation of the Faith; then went to Constantinople, and afterwards to Venice, and became known for his preaching. He died at Venice in 1740. He wrote, Summa Universce Theologie: - Universce Theologice Speculative, Dogmaticce, Positivce, et Moralis Opus:an Armenian poem in which Jesus Christ is compared with Adam, now in the Library of Paris:-an Introduction to the Christian Life, also written in Armenian.
