(Hebrew Achasbay', אֲחְְסבּיְ , prob. Blooming; Sept. Ἀχασβαϊ v v. r.

Ἀσβίτης ), a Maachathite, father of one of David's warriors, Eliphalet ( 2 Samuel 23:34); apparently called UR (q.v.) in the parallel passage ( 1 Chronicles 11:35).
