<p> Walker, John (1), D.D. </p> <p> a minister of Exeter, England, is said to have been born in [[Devonshire]] near the close of the 17th centurv. He is best known by his work entitled An Attempt towards [[Recovering]] an Account of the Numbers and Surferings of the [[Clergy]] who were Sequestered in the Rebellion. He died in 1730. </p>

John Walker [1]

an Irish clergyman, was born in 1767, and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, of which he was for some time a fellow, but was expelled about 1800, and originated a sect called the Church of God.
