He was missionary to Johnstown, Mayfield, and Union, N. Y., in 1825; [[Palatine]] from 1825 to 1827; Mapletown, Spraker's Basin, and Canajoharie from 1827 to 1831; New Paltz from 1832 to 1844; and [[Caughnawaga]] from 1844 to 1858. He died in 1858. He was large of stature, commanding in appearance, an edifying and instructive preacher, and of great executive ability. See Corwin, Manual of the Ref.
