In 1679 he took the same position in the university at Leyden, where he continued until 1729, when he died of apoplexy. His works are, Opus Armoean. (1686, 8vo): — Novum Testamentum Syriacum, cum Versione Latina (1708, 4to): — Epitome Grammatioe Hebraicoe (1716, 8vo): — Sermo Academicus de Linguarum Orientalium Scientia.
