In 1832 he published Die freie priotestantische Kirche oder die kirchlichen Verfassungsgrundsatze des Evangeliums, in which he advocates separation of State and Church. In 1,833 he was called to [[Zurich]] as professor of theology, and died March 24, 1836. Of his works we also mention, Ueber das Zeugniss Justins uber die Apokalypse (Leipsic, 1829): — Quaestiones Philippenses (Giessen, 1831). See Zuchold, Bibl.
