<p> (2), son of the preceding, was born May 14, 1614, at Giessen, and was educated at the University of Marburg, which he entered in 1628, but completed his education at [[Strasburg]] and Jena. In 1640 he became professor at Marburg, in 1648 at Rinten. He returned four years after and got a position at the University of Giessen, and died July 28,1679. His most important works are, Compendium Theol. Christ. (Rinteln, 1649):- Quaestt. Theol. ad Aug. Conf.
