In 1840 he was transferred to the Rock [[River]] Conference, and was stationed at Galena; in 1841 was transferred back to the Kentucky Conference, and continued in the regular work until 1845, when he located until 1867. He was next readmitted to the [[Louisville]] Conference, and appointed to Portland; in 1868 to Shepherdsville Circuit, and in 1869 to Litchfield Circuit. He died August 23, 1870.
