He assisted as deputy of the clergy to the states of [[Brittany]] in 1614, founded in his diocese several establishments of charity and religion, and occupied his time in collecting the ecclesiastical regulations laid down by his predecessors. a French prelate, was born at St. Malo. After being canon, then dean of the cathedral of his native place, he became bishop, January 29, 1610. He assisted as deputy of the clergy to the states of Brittany in 1614, founded in his diocese several establishments of charity and religion, and occupied his time in collecting the ecclesiastical regulations laid down by his predecessors.
