an Italian convert from Judaism, who lived at Mantua in the 17th century, is the author of, אַגֶּרֶת , or Epistola In Lingua Hebr., Chald., Syriaca, etc. (Mantua, 1630; transl. into Germ. by Chrys. Dudulaeus, Nuremberg, s.v.). See First, Bibl. Jud. 1: 2 87; Wolf, Bibl. Hebr. 3:951 . (B.P.)
