In 1854 he removed to Markham, Canada, where he was licensed to preach by the [[Canada]] Wesleyan Church. In 1860 he united with the [[Evangelical]] Association, was ordained, and appointed to Seneca charge. In 1867 he returned to the Methodist Episcopal Church, and was received as a member of the East Genesee Conference. He took a supernumerary relation in 1881, and retired to his home in Hammondsport, where he died, August 18, 1882. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1882. page 320. </p>
