Thomas Craighead [1]
a Presbyterian minister, was a native of Scotland. He is said to have. studied medicine as well as divinity, and, after being settled in Ireland for ten or twelve years, went, in 1715, to New England, and was employed in the ministry at Freetown, near Fall River, Massachusetts, until 1723. In 1724 he was received by New Castle Presbytery, and became pastor at White Clay, Pennsylvania. In 1733 he was installed at Pequea, but was dismissed in 1736, and became a supply at Hanover Paxton, and Conedogwinnit.
