He graduated at Amherst [[College]] in 1850; was ordained in 1853; labored as an evangelist for a short time in northern Ohio; preached in [[Massachusetts]] in the following places: Freetown, Chesterfield,Yarmouth. and North Wrentham, at which latter place he died, November 30, 1865. Mr. Corey was an indefatigable student, and a clear and logical thinker. At the time of his death he had nearly ready for the press a Manual of Congregational [[Polity]] and Principles. See Cong. Quarterly, 1867, page 201. </p>
