<p> a Congregational minister, was born in Massachusetts, and graduated from Dartmouth 'College in 1817, and from [[Andover]] Seminary in 1821. He was ordained Feb. 27,1822, and immediately after-wards became home missionary in New York. He labored at Westford, from 1823 to 1827; at Volney, from 1827 to 1830; in the Presbyterian [[Church]] at Portage, from 1830 to 1835; became stated supply at Sheldon, from 1835 to 1838: at [[Black]] Creek, from 1839 to 1841; at Centreville, in 1841 and for some time afterwards.
