Subsequently he united with the General Baptist Church in his native village, and for some years was its pastor. In 1831 he removed to Alreton, Derbyshire, in which, and the neighboring town of Ripley, he labored from 1831 to 1847. In 1849 he became pastor in Wolverhampton. In 1850 he removed to a village in [[Norfolk]] County, and continued his ministry until obliged to relinquish its duties on account of ill- health. He died at Wirksworth, April 20, 1857. See (Lond.)
