He was brought up to the strict observance of religious forms and ceremonies of the Established Church, confirmed at the age of thirteen, converted about the age of sixteen, and joined the Independent [[Church]] in his twenty-first year. In 1826 he entered Highbury College, and in 1830 received for his first pastorate the parish at Patricroft, near Manchester. In 1841 Mr. Bramall accepted an invitation to the pastorate at Stainland, near Halifax. He removed to Swanland, near Hull, in 1845, where he remained until his health broke down. He died at Islington, Jan. 19,1864. See (Lond.) Cong. Year-book, 1865, page 227. </p>
