He emigrated to [[Canada]] and subsequently to the United States. He was ordained vby the Ouachita [[Presbytery]] of [[Arkansas]] in 1851, and labored first at [[Ebenezer]] and Mountt Carmel, next at Three Creeks, Scotland, and Eldorado, then at La Pile and Carolina, and finally at Arkadelphia, where he died, Aug. 16, 1865.
