an English Congregational minister, was born at Kettering, June 29, 1805. In 1823 he united in fellowship with the Church, and engaged in village preaching. He entered the Newport Pagiel Institution in 1830 for better ministerial preparation. In 1835 he was ordained pastor at Thetford, Norfolk, where he labored until the close of 1847, when he accepted the pastorate at Stony Stratford, Bucks; where he died, June 1,1863. See (Lond.) Cong.
