J. Rush Anderson [1]
a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Montgomery County, Pa., in 1824. He was led to Christ at the age of thirteen; was remarkable from early childhood for his piety; graduated at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia; and in 1844 entered the Philadelphia Conference, in which he labored with diligence and success until his death, Nov. 8,1863.
