Francisco Aguado [1]
a Spanish Jesuit, was born at Torrejon de Ardoz, near Madrid, in 1561 and entered the Society of Jesuits at Alcala in 1588, being then A.M. He was governor of several houses of the order in Spain, twice governed the province of Toledo, and was twice sent as deputy to the congregations at Rome. Philip IV chose him as his preacher, and the count Olivares, Philip's prime-minister, appointed him his confessor. He died at Madrid, Jan. 15, 1654.
